Xbox Component Box vs. HDMI Box

So as the Xbox Guy I was wondering what all these HDMI cables for the OG Xbox were about. So I went on ebay and bought the cheapest one I could find for about 15 bucks.

I unhooked my old solution and hooked the HDMI all in one up and said "huh looks about the same". Then left it at that.

The old solution was HDMI as well using a converter and getting its power from the Xbox. I didn't like the cable mess and thought all was well...

On to the tests I will be using a WiMi USB 3.0 capture card. I love this capture device and use it to stream all my consoles. It works great and takes any signal I shoot at it.

So what do you guys think? On my test after looking over both I found the component solution looked better on my TV. Over the capture they look kinda similar but if you look them over there are small differences. I don't want to point anything out so I'll let GBAtemp decide!

Thank you for your work and your Time to setup and making this Comparison.

I am already considering buying an HDMI cable for test purposes,your Comparison made this Decision easier for me.

For me I can not see any Difference.
But I was also no "Help" on the Wii HDMI "Discussion" before.....

No, @alexander1970 you've been a ton of help, I got a few of my Xbox friends to check the pictures too and they said the same thing. Looks the same. After messing around I got the HDMI solution to look the same on my TV too it was just running a bit brighter on my monitor then the component.
