Alright, today I was going to fix some stuff (it's about DSGM.), so I have a virtual machine that has DSGM, PAlib and all that trash, I was going to write some code that was old devkitARM only, and I went to the C drive, I saw a folder with a interesting name, I entered to it and then I saw all the "Darnell Crystal Fever" source code that was lost a month ago when my SD corrupted + a lost music track + older builds.
You know, the game that I rewrote myself because I lost the entire source code which took me like 3 months to even make. This could have been a lot more helpful a month ago, nowadays this is useless. Why is this useless? Simple, I rewrote the game's engine myself with no help, this wasn't that tedious as it was in the past, whatever the rewrite is SO MUCH better, controls better, has more stuff, better animations control and with this, I rewrote the entire game from scratch, wasn't so hard except that first time in which I had to deal with a ton of stuff. This rewrite is so much better than the older game by so much, the older game only had 2 levels while right now the newer one has like 6 and counting.
the levels in the screenshots were: fever dream act 1, blocky woods act 2, and colorful caverns act 1.
anyways this game in the current state is actually pretty fun and most people that have tested it say it is really good (most, some others say it kinda sucks because it does not have music) it is in development but whatever.
about the sd card, yeah i haven't been able to recover the data, it may sound bad but i had old backups, most important data was recovered apart from the darnell source code. while i had some pictures, yeah everybody takes them, never sees them again, some i do want to keep but i know that i will see them once, never see them again.
No problem in history is solved saying "oh you shouldn't have done it" or saying, if you want to fix a problem, analyze it, and find a solution.
If you have something you want to do, do it, it's the only way to live life without regrets.
