today I logged in to Malta's Singlepermit website as an expat told me her work permit was approved in 3 days. I submitted my work permit last thursday, and yes, I have been restless ever since even I don't have the reason to do so. My salary, as stated on the contract will be twice than the locals, and I applied using Malta's Key Employee Initiative, so the my chance to get approved is high. But you know, I am just a worrywart. I have been dreaming to escape from my country for a long time, and it's about on my grasp, so I feel like I have a lot to lose if I don't get the work permit approved.
The HR from my future employer is yet to contact me, but I assume that I am getting closer to relocate to Malta. I expect to move there by mid July or late july as my starting date is the first week of August.
