    Also, I had a question. The backgrounds/terrains of Zill, are they meant to be that low rez? Are there any plans to update them?

    the backgrounds are what they are. I can edit them but i've already exhausted most of the available memory there is for the hi resolution characters and monsters, and even without those, doubling the resolution of all the background assets would be plain nonsense (not to mention that the battles are kinda so-so to begin with)
