Hacking Banners/icon templates for Wii VC

Instructions

The template files are .psd in the correct resolution, open them in Photoshop, replace game_banner_example layer with your image, save as tga 24bits/pixel (no RLE compress). Icon must be tga 32bits/pixel (no RLE compress). Attached to this post, see the bottom.

All tga images output MUST have exactly this size or your WUP will be corrupted and won't start:

iconTex.tga - 65.580 bytes
bootTvTex - 2.764.844 bytes
bootDrcTex - 1.229.804 bytes

EDIT: If you use @KhaderWelaye script (here)you don't need to do the convertion to .tga yourself, it's all converted to .tga from a .png and the bootDrcTex generated automaticaly.
You just need:

bootTvTex.png (1280x720)
iconTex.png (128x128)

thank you!!!, just remember attach a working .tga with the size given in intructions or two files icon and banner in .png format. A small preview is welcomed so other users can have an idea of how the banner/icon will look in the Wii U. If your image preview is hosted in an external page you can use tag [/img] to make it easy to view in the thread. You can submit 1 or more banners/icon per game, there's no restriction.

EDIT: The Wii VC sharing section (below) is now separated in contributions that includes original image from opening.bnr and the normal ones.

Just create a new layer that's on top the example layer, or just delete the example layer.

If anyone wants to make some meta/tga files out for me for Dead Space Extraction please do I have the game but I'm still working on getting MK working at the moment just so I know what to do but I do want to try this title out

If I can get some of these working I shall put them on that site which I'm surprised no one has as yet!

I cannot make my game work yet, and I think many people are in the same situation. Whether it is a bad ISO or for any other reason, that's why they haven't uploaded anything just yet. Good luck with your inject!

Guys if you are using Gimp to make your banners, etc here is how it goes: If you want to make the banner 32 bit than you want RGBA (apha channel), when having many layers, etc, you go to image options and choose "merge" then export it, etc.

If you want a 24bit banner, you do NOT merge, you want an RGB image without alpha channel, so you go to image options and you choose "Flatten" or "Aplanar" in spanish.

Thanks I was thinking quite a few are getting them working I have been reading all the wrong comments probably. My ISO's I'm using are from clean scene rapped up sources but all I seem to get is a black screen, it doesn't kick me out at all but nothing shows up so I have to just unplug the power cable. Which games are you trying?

I'm doing all the instructions as intended:

Using XenobladeX as Base.

Extracting tickets and renaming

Using clean full iso & converting.

Packing up properly.

but black screen every time for me.

I'm using funkii gui to download it fully (don't trust JNUStool partial way) and then I use CDecrypt (CDecrypt.exe title.tmd title.tik ckey.bin) to extract the code/content/meta folders.

Use jnustool to decrypt. Cdecrypt isn't working properly apparently.

Why not? I would of thought as long as it extracts the three folders there shouldn't be any difference I will try it though. My problem is I'm only used to the old JNUSTool update decrypt way I don't know how to do the updated download wii titles way?

i thought the cdecrypt would work ... but its the worst method ... jnustool is better
