(Or 36lor8-39vf512)
Or maybe someone know a 32mb cart, that i can buy from ali, i can put mother 3 to?

You can buy a mother 3 fan translated clone card for 4 bucks so... up to you is you wanna risk the one you have.

Is four bucks man, what else can you buy with that? Even I would get one if I didn't live outside of the USA.
1 pizza 😁
And I don't want to wait for one to two mounth if it doesn't work anyway

And my post office is a nightmare, i will wait for ~1.5-2 hours to get the cartridge, so annoying

This bootleg Pokemon Sapphire cart contains a 16MB/128Mb JS28F128 Intel chip (as of purchase within the last two weeks) and I was able to write Metroid Zero Mission without issue using this tool. Saving did not initially work natively, as expected without a battery for SRAM, but should work fine with addition of a battery or patching the ROM.

Weird that saving didn't work, most Pokemon bootlegs do tend to include saving save the real crap ones.

In fact my only Pokemon bootlegs that don't save are those with dead batteries.

Saving works great now, but Metroid Zero Mission would tell me it was corrupt before patching with this patcher. This cart seems to use NOR flash in lieu of the SRAM to save. There does seem to be a SRAM chip on further inspection (EM611FV16) but it will lose the save after shutdown unless there is a patch to save to the non-volatile memory or a battery is added while moving the 0 ohm resistor over a space. It looks like the original ROM on this was save-patched too. The SRAM chip on here is also 1Mb and apparently would need a patch anyway due to differences between this newer chip and the GBA's 512Kb SRAM. This SRAM patcher can sort that out.

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005005586506154.html (Golden Sun 2 The Lost Age, Gold Sun 1 are Batteryless patched)

this is a 32MB cart with Flash save as Mother 3 uses Flash save also, you will not need to SRAM Patch/Batterless Patch

Anybody has any experience with this cart?

I have 2 of them. Just soldering battery doesn't allow SRAM saving.
Do I have to solder diode, condenser and resistor (I don't have any SMD and def. don't have 5817 diode) or?
I don't see any Y N jumpers
BTW: What is DAN jumper for?
thanks
you need to solder a 5817 diode, a 100k resister (104) and a 10k resistor.

I want a handheld gaming system with a tablet sized screen, like a 8 or10" screen, with controllers that can detach like the Switch.

@BigOnYa i was legitimately trying to scratch my leg, this is reminding me of that cylinder post

I don't see the buzz about a square screen personally. I think there will be a review on the site within a few weeks though if you are interested.

I've put down the money on the Odin 2 Mini since I just love that Vita form factor. Loved the power of the Odin 2 but the size always put me off, this one seems exactly what I've been wanting.

I don't care about the square screen it's just nice to hold something you don't have to stretch your arms a foots length

All these things expecting to be super huge is overrated just run a type c cable to your TV if you want a big display or in my case screen mirror it

On the go tho I meant, I use my 10" tablet and a Bluetooth controller for retro gaming while sitting on my porch or on long car rides sometimes. Easier on my eyes than the Switch screen.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
My point is we already have enough shit with big displays having something pocketable with up to ps2 would be fine on the go

Ken unless the games are made for that screen size most suck on a screen that size... Having a square screen and being brighter and higher res helps but it's not a cure all, text is tiny bullets are tiny, your.... Well lol
