Misc "Motion 2in1" remote won't connect to my wii u

Before anyone asked:

• The batteries work
• I tested it with my Wii, controller connects flawlessly with the wii
• Read the support.nintendo.com article on this problem and it instructed me to (no joke) hit the "button-side" of the remote with the palm of my hand
• My Wii U is hacked With Tiramisu
• I am not planning on buying an official remote

Considering the 3rd party ones were always crap, looks like you may have to change your final sentence or buy the little motion adapters for the motes. I've had those for years and they still work flawlessly.

Yeah this just sounds like 3rd party controller issue that will never be fixed.
