Multiman PS3 Error 80010017

Hi. I've installed Multiman following a youtube tutorial.

My PS3 code is cech-2004b and I've had multiman working years ago on it but after lending my PS3 to a friend I've found it was deleted and all the games with it.

So I've tried to learn how to instal a new Multiman and it worked, but whenever I lauch games that i installed via USB Flash I get the error message 80010017.

What could this be ?

My Sony update key or name is 4.86 atm

That's a decryption error in most cases. If you downloaded a fixed game, there's no telling how much the person fucked it up. Compare with ird to rule that out.

I'm guessing that the website I've downloaded the ISO file is bad & that I should adopt a different route of downloading & installing PS3 games?

I'm uneducated with the term "IRD", Could you just tell me where should I go a do my research on it?

You'll have to Google the ird site because it's changed. It will determine if the game has been tampered with.
