Hardware PS4 big problem

I have bought a used PS4 slim, it comes with HDMI and power cable + control, it seemed fine at first apart from the fact that it gets hot after a short while, but now the image would not appear on the TV, it did before, the PS4 lights up blue and the control is on, HDMI cable is in TV and power cable in PS4.
