Hey guys!
I gotta say I ADORE Animal Crossing.
I have been playing Welcome Amiibo (New Leaf) in Citra last year and since I modded an old WII, now I am currently playing Animal Crossing Town Folk in an original CD, only hacked for RiiOnline gaming.

I was updating my Citra today checking for the new Vulkan (still unavailable even in Canary for some reason, I am using Linux with Ryzen 3200u), and was happy to reload last years save.

Anyways, this got me thinking about mods and I found this GORGEOUS project.
I hope this small background I provided for context proves to be a sincere reason to ask a maybe... tedious?.. question:

Is there a way to play this in Citra?

I will sincerely thank you for your support, for I truly find the quaint and relaxing nature of this game highly nurturing for my alienated soul. This mod looks like something I would really enjoy.

Extra context: My actual home is decorated with golden Orthodox Christian art, and golden Klimt paintings. I also work in a Jewelry, and even though I do not wear gold, I love its gleam, specially next to onyx or obsidian.

Man, this is my actual banner in social media:

LOL, I feel this mod was made for me, in heaven.

I'll take your entire stock. Give it to me. Give it all to me!
Your comment is so sweet, omg. It's too sad I rarely look here :(

To answer your question, yes. There is a version specifically for Citra provided. You should read the whole post to know what you need to do.

Though I also should mention that the entire project is being revisited and reworked since a few bugs came up with time. So expect changes and new releases in the future.

I hope you enjoy the project!
And get me luxury jewelry!

If you're so concerned it might be a tedious question, maybe you should spend a minute Googling before asking?

While true, ACWL isn't designed to be used with game patching. Though that might change in the future :)

I'm having a bit of trouble connecting WL to HHD. Is anyone else having this problem? If so, how do you fix it? New to homebrewed 3ds, still learning. Sorry if it's a dumb question.

You need to put the savefile into an unmodded version of the game, i use checkpoint to backup the save and then fbi to move it and then checkpoint again to insert the save into the unmodded game. I also use this to participate in events such as tomorrow's Toy Day, or to work at Brewsters.
I do hope these can be fixed one day so I no longer have to move my savefiles.

Ive tried everything, after downloading v1.1.33L and trying to put it in titles folder, a subfolder within titles that contains the 16 digit game ID, I've enabled patching on luma, everytime I try nothing works. I'm running welcome amiibo. What am I doing wrong? I had to make the titles folder myself, as well as the subfolder with the game ID, is there something else that needs to be added to one of these?

Thank you for all your work on this. I haven't tried it. Yet. But I want to. I have the switch game but I prefer New Leaf for many reasons. Like missing Kelly and the mini games. It was harder to get started compared to New Leaf. Thanks again.

Hi, I downloaded your mod. And the textures and music working. But the other features are missing. And yes I'm using welcome Amiibo and version 1.5
Has someone a solution?

Thx in advance

And recently ive been using Netpass, and the green light has been appearing, a villager moved in from another town, and I even got an initiative to visit HH Showcase houses, but the showcase is empty
It could be from a similar source to redd's shop being empty

I don't see the buzz about a square screen personally. I think there will be a review on the site within a few weeks though if you are interested.

I've put down the money on the Odin 2 Mini since I just love that Vita form factor. Loved the power of the Odin 2 but the size always put me off, this one seems exactly what I've been wanting.

I don't care about the square screen it's just nice to hold something you don't have to stretch your arms a foots length

All these things expecting to be super huge is overrated just run a type c cable to your TV if you want a big display or in my case screen mirror it

On the go tho I meant, I use my 10" tablet and a Bluetooth controller for retro gaming while sitting on my porch or on long car rides sometimes. Easier on my eyes than the Switch screen.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
My point is we already have enough shit with big displays having something pocketable with up to ps2 would be fine on the go

Ken unless the games are made for that screen size most suck on a screen that size... Having a square screen and being brighter and higher res helps but it's not a cure all, text is tiny bullets are tiny, your.... Well lol

You can stretch to fit probably it's not all bad that they make it seem to be
