Hardware Homebrew ROM Hack Feedback Saved game data to HDD using usberloadergx

when playing a wii rom through usbloadergx i noticed once i saved a game there wasnt anything like a save file in my hdd along with my games, ive been told it gets stored in the wii nand. is there anyway to make it so when im playing a rom through usbloadergx and go and save the game it gets stored in my HDD because ive got 1tb HDD so there is plenty of space for it in there instead of the wii nand. can this be performed through usblaodergx custom path settings?
