Now THIS is a great game!! You don't have to be a dodgeball fan, or even a sports fan, to enjoy this game. Its so fun, you'll have you're hands glued to your GBA for hours. Why? Read on to find out!
Gameplay: The gameplay is quite straightforward. You and your opponents are on opposite sides of the court. The point of the game is to grab the ball, and smack one of you're opponents with it. Does it get any better than that?
Of course, as always, the game gets harder and harder as you go on. Eventually, when you beat every team, you'll get to go up against the infamous "Dream Team." Only the best can beat them!
Visuals: Eh.... not bad, not great either. All the characters are nicely animated, and the backgrounds and the courts are pretty nice looking as well. If only the horrible GBA screen wasn't so dark!!! >< Old school gamers will be right at home. It looks like it was straight out of the SNES (and that, my friend, is a good thing.)
Sound: The music is upbeat and hip, as you'd probably expect. The in-game music is nice as well. You'll probably find yourself tapping your toes to the tunes in a short while. Nicely done!
Fun Factor Wow. This game is so very fun (at least it was for me). You'll love just playing a exhibition game, because it's so fun to smack a person upside the head with a dodgeball. You'll probably like it for this reason too. The season mode is great as well, although there aren't many rounds to play. I suggest starting at Easy mode and working you way up. See if you can beat it like that, chump! ^-^
Replay:Heres where I deducted the marks. There isn't much to unlock. The only real important thing to see is the match against the Dream Team. You'll want to prove yourself against these guys, and it may take you a few tries to do just that. Other than that, there isn't much else to do.
Recommendations: Sports fan or not, I recommend you check this game out. Its an amazingly fun game to pick up and play. Its a game that belong in every gamer's GBA collection. Find it and buy it!
