I've been searching for a solution EVERYWHERE. And I finally decided to find some answers ON MY OWN.
Since nobody seems to know what I'm talking about.

I've turned on the debug to see if I can find any other keywords to search. And it says "gameOnFlashcard: false"
Which is just absolutely aggravating.

Holding L doesn't work.
Twlfix isn't what I'm looking for. All the other games work fine.
I'm getting not a black screen, but a WHITE SCREEN

It's just SM64DS

I have no idea how to fix this. I've deleted and reinstalled many versions of Mario64DS and I just want to play that one game. I'd like to fix this so I can add ROM patches to it. Please help.

Judging by the name of your ROM, it seems to be a ROM hack.
Not all ROM hacks of SM64DS work.

Nah the actual game doesn't work either, ROM hacks work fine it's just something about that rom that won't work

I've downloaded wet n wild and the trashman versions of the game and they give me a white screen :(

Do you have any cheats enabled?

Nah trust me I don't, that game just shows a white screen whenever I start it up. Minigames in NSMB don't seem to load either, but that's just an extra note, I just want to play sm64 ds, once I find out what's not making the game run I know the ROM hack will work as well. (Before u ask, im downloading the actual game from a ROM website, not a modified version)

Try running the SM64DS ROM in an emulator. If it doesn't work there either, then the ROM might be corrupted somehow.

Nope. Just tried it. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, I can send a picture of my SD card directory or the twilight Menu folder and maybe you could see what I'm missing or what's the problem then?

If the other games are working, then the only issue is with your SM64DS ROM. Try searching elsewhere for it.

Nope. It's against the rules to link to ROMs.

I figured. Well okay I'll look around thanks you!

If you have a ds what is the exact name of your SM64DS ROM file? Just so I can download one that may work,

So recently I was unable to play Super Mario 64 DS without getting a white screen. I was stuck. I simply went into my twilight Menu files, and deleted the NDS bootstrap files. Then simply redownloaded them using Twilight Updater!!

*LITTLE ADVICE FOR PEOPLE THAT MAY BE STUCK WITH A WHITE SCREEN IN THE FUTURE*

Thanks to @Robz8 for your help and concern. Peace dude.

Can you go into further detail on how exactly you fixed it? I've encountered the same issue and I'm new at modding but I don't want to permanently delete any saves or anything.

I don't see the buzz about a square screen personally. I think there will be a review on the site within a few weeks though if you are interested.

I've put down the money on the Odin 2 Mini since I just love that Vita form factor. Loved the power of the Odin 2 but the size always put me off, this one seems exactly what I've been wanting.

I don't care about the square screen it's just nice to hold something you don't have to stretch your arms a foots length

All these things expecting to be super huge is overrated just run a type c cable to your TV if you want a big display or in my case screen mirror it

On the go tho I meant, I use my 10" tablet and a Bluetooth controller for retro gaming while sitting on my porch or on long car rides sometimes. Easier on my eyes than the Switch screen.

My point is we already have enough shit with big displays having something pocketable with up to ps2 would be fine on the go
