No time, no space...

It was nice back then when I had all the time in the world to follow the various modding scenes and tinker with my consoles... (it's not like I even played with that many roms lol)
I wish I could get back to that, or even better have the motivation to do some reverse engineering to improve my skills (and maybe even find something useful); but alas I have a million things to do, big and small, compulsory or even for personal interest, and my brain can never sort them in an order so that I can actually finish them efficiently...
I had so many side projects for this summer; for example I planned to make a blog (or several) on various subjects, something made with some reasoning behind, but again my concentration is so low usually that I can't help but keep moving by inertia...

I don't even know why I'm writing this on the 'temp 😅(reboot.ms was the forum I grew up with), maybe because it's one of the few places with this function I knew about.

Don't expect anything from me, honestly...

If you want to keep a toe in the water then https://www.youtube.com/@ModernVintageGamer tends to cover the more interesting developments, and there are some that go a bit further and cover the random homebrew mod chips that get developed as well

Personally I quite like repair videos and they often enough cover consoles (and retro PC as that seemingly got huge) but different discussion there.

Standalone emulation/replication and adaptation is also being a bit of a thing -- between mister, Analogue Pocket and consolizer things then lot of good stuff is happening.
