How to make the XSX recognize a standard SSD as a Storage Expandion Card?

Hello there, I got this CFexpress to M.2 adapter that allows to use any standard SSD 2280 as a storage expansion card:

The problem is that the SSD is not recognized as Storage Expansion Card and gets this error message when inserted on the back of the console:

Does anyone knows to fix this??

If I clone my 1TB expansion card will be possible to make this 2TB SSD which is brand new to be recognized by the console as a 2TB expansion card??

says on the amazon link it will only work with western digital ssd and nothing else.

Friendly reminder: XBOX dedicated expansion card, currently only supports Western Digital CH SN530 hard drive,other SSD will not suit.

I know, but this seller on aliexpress sells one that is not a WD.

So might be a catch right??

Maybe they cloned or installed a custom firmware on their 3rd SSD??

not sure as i have never done this, you just need to do research before buying, good luck though

For what you are paying I would just get an official one.
