Hacking Homebrew PSP 6.61 PRO-C isn't permanent

So i bought a PSP 3004 2 years a go and i was using it for 2 years until i recently saw something on YouTube. I was starting cfw from pro update menu because that was the only way to enable cfw. There were options like triangle removes cfw x starts cfw i was always doing that then i realized my psp isnt "permanently" hacked. Is there anyway to make my console permanently hacked? Because console starts on normal firmware and only pro Fast recovery and pro update show off. I start pro update then press x then games show. I'm confused i hope someone can help me.

So i used my console for 2 years thinking it was permanent? Hahahaha smh.
