Released for the PSP in 2012, Bakemonogatari Portable is a self-titled “crazy mad delusional drama” featuring a 3D world which lovingly captures the unique feel of the anime.

Whoever said talk is cheap obviously hasn’t seen this game, where words become weapons as you face off against opponents in fast-paced dialogue battles.



Relive the first season of the anime in story mode, or pit your favorite characters head-to-head in freeplay battles.

Usage:

Before you can play the translation, you'll need to patch the game on your computer using a legal copy of the ROM.

-Download DeltaPatcher from https://www.romhacking.net/utilities/704/
-Extract the file, and run either DeltaPatcher or DeltaPatcherLite
-'Original file' should be your copy of the ROM, as an '.iso' filetype.
-For 'XDelta patch', choose the 'BakemonogatariPatch.xdelta' file.
-Hit apply patch, and you're good to go!

*Note that this will overwrite your original file. If you’d like to keep a copy of it instead, change the settings by clicking the cog icon, and tick “Backup original file”. This will create a new ‘--PATCHED.nds’ file instead.

It is the kind of game where you can see why they never attempted to localize it officially! It gave us a fair amount of trouble figuring out what to do with the vertical text and hardsubbed cutscenes, but we hope you'll enjoy the results

Hello, thank you very much for your tool. We are currently making a patch for this game but have encountered difficulties. The game textures made with Photoshop cannot display the translucent effect correctly after being imported into the game. How should this problem be solved?

Yeah, I remember this game having a lot of issues with semi-transparent images It was mostly trial and error in Photoshop for my part. If you'd like, I can PM you my .psd files with all my settings so you can use those?
