Hacking Homebrew app Homebrew game Wii wont play my GameCube iso on HDD

I have a Wii with a 1tb WD my passport HDD and a 32gb sdhc SD card. HDD is mbr and formatted to 32k fat32. My problem here is USB loadergx detects all Wii and GameCube games and plays Wii games. But for gamecube games, I get a checkformultigameandregion (1) error.
When I try to use Nintendont I just get USB: /games/ was not found. I have my GameCube directories correct. If I plug my HDD into the USB port 1 instead of 0 my GameCube games will load thru Nintendont but no Wii games at all. I'm using a y splitter cable btw. I've used 4 different hdds and I'm pulling my hair with this bc I just want both my GameCube and Wii games to work on the same HDD thru USB loader gx but I keep getting the same error. I would really appreciate help as this has been going on for months and I still can't resolve this issue

    @BigArnold you put the fusee or hekate.bin in the hekate/ payloads folder, or use app to push the payload to switch while its in rcm mode

    Did you click install driver inside the tegra app.

    I did all of that stuff and it seemed successful but still nothing. The only thing different from the guide I used was that my device wasn't showing up as APX but rather Nintendo Switch.

    Try a different USB c cable, or different USB port on your pc.

    I tried a different port and don't have another cable. I'm fairly certain there's no issue with the equipment I'm using.

    Some cheap USB c cables don't send data, they only charge

    The cable is usually used to connect my controller to my switch's dock.

    Only other thing Id suggest is using a phone/tablet and use the Rekato app, or different pc
