This is gonna sound dumb, but is your avatar actually you and you set your gender to male when you made the account?
I ask because it's actually possible to change it in settings, if I recall correctly. I only mention that because on some boards it doesn't allow you to change your gender after you set it

I found it funny cause many many years ago, had a roommate in college that did this same dumbass branding of the school logo, but it didn't look anything like it after it healed. Just looked like a birthmark.
