Just installed new remix pack USA version onto my euro RedNAND and can confirm region free works perfectly

Your sysnand will have the same installed game, will it not? When I installed a game on rednand, my sysnand can access to the same game without an issue.

sysnand should have access (if it's installed to usb with linked nands), but it will boot to a black screen because it's out of region.

It shouldn't even boot at all. It'll just tell you the title is not for your region when trying to launch it.

No idea my 8gb wiiu took about 30 mins to dump the nand.

Huh, that isn't normal. What's the size of your SD card? Are you using the newest dumper, and not the old one?
Try again maybe?

I'm pretty sure I'm using the newest dumper. My sd is 128GB on size.

The rednand boots flawlessly without any issue.

Is there any difference of dumped nand between the two dumpers?

The old dumper was very unstable and unreliable. It took me 17 dumps before redNAND worked. Also, it broke some games for me.
The new dumper is much more stable and reliable. It should work on the first try.

No idea my 8gb wiiu took about 30 mins to dump the nand.

That was quick. When dumping the dumper had been counting every single hex one by one (mcl slc and slccmpt) that's why it has taken too long. I reckon the issue has occurred because of my sd card (sandisk ultra 128gb)

Yes it worked on the first try and after installed it boots flawlessly without failing.

I just added a tutorial to the guide on how to repack out-of-region games so you can boot them directly from the Home Menu. Nice for those who don't want to always run System Config Tool every time they want to run their game.

Also nice guide for those working on Unity projects who don't own a USA console (the editor exports USA-only builds by default, for some reason, and I don't see an option in the editor to change it...)

Also nice for converting Loadiine-ready games to installable .app and .h3 files.

You added "C:\Python27;" to path and it still doesn't work?

Now I get

[Errno 2] No such file or directory

the easy_install files are inside of
C:\python27\Scripts

Is there any forseeable way in the future that we'll be able to force the Wii U to automatically boot into RedNAND? That will be amazing if we ever get that. Shame Nintendo didn't put themes on the Wii U like the 3DS, I'd imagine that would easily open up such a possibility.

Smealum developed a method that coldboots into rednand, but he hasn't put forth any concrete plans to release it. Although he alluded to a release in the near future in a recent tweet.
