Not every problem. You still cant directly save to the mSD card, and they've had to revert back to using FRAM and needing to reboot the device to dump the save. And this is clearly a inconvenience they would like to overcome, as proven by the fact that they use to have FRAM back in the EZ Flash IV, but then tried to move away from it when they made the first Omega. With LEDs, you can lower the likelihood of accidental corruption, and having a button can give you the option of having both methods of saving.

Of course I'm not saying that a entire new version of the device should be created for this sole reason. But if another device was already being made (like a "lite" version for the NDS lite), then I dont see why this shouldnt be considered.
They found out it was a very bad decision to cut cost in that area of the hardware so they went back to FRAM thus making it the Everdrive GBA X5 killer

Sorry unfortunately I've only got singles of those colors. If I find more I'll let you know though. The blue actually came from RetroModding.
Yeah I saw they used to have them at RetroModding, but they seem to be out of stock, and I'm doubtful more are coming. Oh well.

@EZ-Flash2 no rumble support in Pokemon Pinball Ruby & Sapphire?

I can't select to enable rumble it's grayed out
The rumble feature in that game was made for the Gamecube controller, so that it works when you play the game on a Gameboy Player. The cart itself didnt have rumble that can be used on the handheld by itself.
So I guess this would need to be hacked into the game to utilise the rumble in the Omega cart.

Having looked it up, it turns out that a few games had this rumble feature via the Gameboy Player. Such as Mario & Luigi, Drill Dozer, Mario Advance 4.
So maybe implementing this on a kernel level would actually be kinda neat, rather than patching each game.

Rumble
The only known existing special function is the joypad rumble function, controlled by sending data through the serial port (the normal GBA port, even though it also has the connectors).

The Game Boy Player added a rumble feature to certain Game Boy Advance games when played with a GameCube controller. Those games included:

Drill Dozer (supports BOTH handheld-rumble and GBP-rumble?)
Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga
Pokemon Pinball: Ruby & Sapphire
Shikakui Atama wo Marukusuru Advance: Kokugo Sansu Rika Shakai
Shikakui Atama wo Marukusuru Advance: Kanji Keisan
Summon Night Craft Sword Monogatari: Hajimari no Ishi
Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3

Fredrik Olsson (aka Flubba) has implemented rumble in 3 applications now RumblePong (FluBBA) (homebrew)

Remudvance (FluBBA) (homebrew)
Goomba (FluBBA) (8bit Gameboy Color Emulator for 32bit GBA) (homebrew)
and, supposedly in "Tetanus on Drugs" (Tepples) (homebrew)

Don't know if you could fake out detection ( http://caitsith2.com/gba_video_arv3.htm ) for this one as later it goes on about it using the serial port to send on and off commands. Could probably get it going on with a patch though and likely one small enough to be included in the kernel.

It does it with addons or no addons and even in nor flash. I have not tried b mode yet... Ive tried ingame reset on and off also games state save on and off and both together on and off... Still random freezing. Can be 5 minutes can be 2 hours.

Try cleaning your cartridge's pins with some isopropyl alcohol. If that doesn't work you may need to contact your dealer for a replacement.

I have not checked the kernel source out properly yet but if those games already have a rumble setup in them which triggers on whatever events the devs thought good for it then whatever patching options exist (don't know how soft reset, savestates or cheats function here if they are not otherwise running clean ROMs) then in theory it would not be hard to tell it "don't do the thing with the save bus you normally do, instead do the https://gbatemp.net/threads/make-your-own-rumble-game-for-ez-flash-omega-definitive-edition.580909/ routine ". Something which you (being one with control over the loader) may have slid on there when copying it across (or a more optimised version of that which overwrites the original game's rumble routine if that is a possibility and you feel like it), possibly also tripping or disabling any requirements for it to have been on a GB player if that is going to be a thing.

As it is a limited pool and not some unlimited potential list of all games then you could add a few check serial (and options selected) and if both match then do this patch to have rumble work with the omega DE that would only have otherwise worked with the GB player.

From where I sit that sounds more like a job for EZFlash (original games having original baked in support for rumble on some flavour of official GBA hardware after all) but still potentially within the remit of someone playing with the loader source code. I don't imagine however that you are coming out of this without getting your hands dirty on the GBA assembly and game debugging front.

Did you mod the console and what battery are you using?

unstable power supply would cause sudden freeze are reported by Chinese users, it can be solved by change battery or change to unmodded console.

Hello! I'm having a weird issue where the date appears to keep resetting. I've checked the battery, and it doesn't appear to be an issue with that. Has anyone else had this issue or know of a fix?

Rumble function is not applied when using R4, is there a way? I tried several games with Rumble function and operated in B mode, but it doesn't work.
