For my tiny youtube channel with only a handful of video's....I now have over 1000 views.
I should really add more video's, but I had nothing to post since I did nearly nothing with my homebrew game for the past 4-6 month. going through some stuff work related...it's going better now.
I have "joined the darkside"...hahaha...bought a used macbook air 11.5 inch! Always wanted one! Too expensive, but found a deal and had saved up some money. Then went wild and got a mini, imac and macbook pro too! All from the period of 2011-2014. Yes they work well. Even have macos sonoma on my 2011 imac, only real issue is the GPU is not metal compatible! Anyway...the macs are a whole separate topic. Obviously I will do an attempt to port BatteryCheck to it at one point!
To answer the question: why? Well...as said always wanted one. For some stupid software and printer stuff that does not work on Linux. Some side intterest I am also learning about music, and to play Piano...sort of. and that software will also work best on either windows or macos. And...ever since it was announced I wanted to play with thunderbolt. This is the reason I now have 4 macs. total cost of the four machines was about 60% of the cost of a brand new macbook air. including the accessories....ehm....I might have been able to get a mac studio!
But...about batterycheck...for those 3 people that still might be interested ...the project ain't dead. Just slow and a bit "on hold". It's a hobby...not a payed job right.
