Animal Crossing NES Save Generator v0.1

In 2018, James Chambers released an exploit that allowed the packing of NES ROMs into GameCube Memory Cards for use in Animal Crossing.

However, there were a few issues with Python, in which it was made for Python 2, and it didn't quite work.

Thanks to gerzytet, we now have a Python 3 port of the project, with a few extras on the way!

I created a batch file to somewhat automate the process.
It compresses the ROM using Wiimm's SZS Tools, and gerzytet's Python 3 port of jamchamb's AC NES save packer.

Requirements
Python 3. Python 3.9 has been tested to work. Download
git. Windows download

Setup
Copy the contents of ac-nes-rom-gen-updated-master to AC NES Save Generator.
Add your NES ROMs to AC NES Save Generator.

Run the program.
Enter '1' when prompted to run the install scripts. (First run only)

Enter the filename of the ROM, then the name of the game.

It will produce a GCI file, which you can then use on your preferred platform.



Known issues:
Banner & icon on Memory Card Management appears corrupted. (Fixed 12/21/21, update will be released soon)

Larger character count for games.
Save data displaying game it is for.
Support for other regions.
