Do they install just like the 3dsx versions?
You can just replace the .3dsx by the installed .cia.
They have the same functionality.

Change the N3DS for a Vita or a Switch (or a mobile phone).any tips on getting the game to run faster? I already have the draw distance at the minimum and the radio off, but I get HUGE lag when driving.
Well, I have a phone, I just wanted to use the 3DS. I really like the circle pad and it has a great battery life. I actually am considering a Vita, though, just not super pumped about spending another $100 on a handheld.Change the N3DS for a Vita or a Switch (or a mobile phone).
3DS I/O performance is just very poor. AJM will say if there's any room for improvements (framerate/stuttering) but I think this performance is what 3DS can offer.
have you converted the textures yet? that's definitely the issueany tips on getting the game to run faster? I already have the draw distance at the minimum and the radio off, but I get HUGE lag when driving.
I got the precompiled one - I assumed that was already done? Should I just run the texture 3dsx?have you converted the textures yet? that's definitely the issue
Yes. Run re3-txd and you should be goodShould I just run the texture 3dsx?
is your version modified in any way?Hi! First of all, thanks for the amazing job you've done, it's really stunning and I hope you'll be able to bring this project far!
I'm having some problems with installation tho. I'm pretty sure I'm missing some important steps.
I've moved the "anim", "audio", "data", "models", "mp3", "skins" and "txd" directly from my version of GTA3 to the "re3" directory, accessible root. I suppose I now have to modify the files that have to be modified, as you said in the instructions, and I chose to do it on the console so I booted the .3dsx file "re3-stereo-txd.3dsx" and it crashed the console. Same thing with "re3-txd.3dsx".
I'm really sorry if this results in a dumb question, but I've been on this for quite some time and I'm really stuck. Any kind of help is widely appreciated, thanks!
Nope! A fresh installis your version modified in any way?
you need to move TEXT and data from re3ctr-release.tar.gz to your re3 folder on your sd card let it replace files, the re3 folder should be in the /3ds folderHi! First of all, thanks for the amazing job you've done, it's really stunning and I hope you'll be able to bring this project far!

Thank you very much for taking the time to answer. I'm gonna try this tomorrow, as it's pretty late here rn.you need to move TEXT and data from re3ctr-release.tar.gz to your re3 folder on your sd card let it replace files, the re3 folder should be in the /3ds folder
You think using a legit copy from steam store onto a 3ds is any different of pirating than anything else out there?Thank you very much for taking the time to answer. I'm gonna try this tomorrow, as it's pretty late here rn.
Also, I now can confirm that the copy that was given to me is a pirated one, if I understood correctly. But I'm gonna use a legit Steam copy (or a copy from somewhere else) of the game, as I don't quite like the idea to be a "pirate".
Again, thanks for the support.
