'Bully: Anniversary Edition' ported to the PS Vita

bully.png

The PS Vita welcomes yet another port from Rinnegatamante and TheFlow0 in its library. After GTA Vice City and GTA San Andreas, the modders have announced that they have got Bully: Anniversary Edition working on Sony's handheld. As with GTA San Andreas, the Bully port is based on the Android version of the game and to get it working on your PS Vita, you will need to have your own copy of the game.

As the modders explain in the official GitHub release, the port works by loading the official Android ARMv7 executable in memory, resolving its imports with native functions and patching it in order to properly run. They also note that the game is likely to crash after a long gameplay session since the official game does not free unused textures given that the smartphones on which the Android version works have more RAM than the PS Vita.

You can find a full installation guide for Bully: Anniversary Edition on the PS Vita in the GitHub page linked below.

Bully runs smooth on the Vita, aside from the crashing issues.

I'm ~60% towards the 100% completion and haven't encountered anything out of the ordinary yet like unprogressable missions/states.

Amazing work if you ask me.
Pair it with ReVita to bind L2/R2 to the back touchpad (huraay for L2R2 grips) and it's almost perfect.

lots of people dont play gta online has gtaV has released on the damn ps3 and we are still on the same gta game on ps5, seriously people would prefer some hd remasters of vice city/san andreas/bully or original red dead over another gta V port, specialy when gtav runs through backwards compat on both ps5 and xbsx so they dont need to make a native port at all.

Was planning to reply to this but forgot. Not sure where you brought up the ports from, I'm only specifically talking about GTA Online. I don't support the porting of GTA V over other stuff either, was just saying how good the GTA Online updates are.

yeah but i wassaying people are mad becuase even rockstar itself has more games thay could be using the recources rather than porting the same exact game for the second time, and by the time gta VI will be released it will be at the end of ps5/xbsx just wait for it lol.

Switch the switch to resolve your issue
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigArnold, sorry but i cant, i dont have a switch. also what k3nv2 says is a joke
  • B @ BigArnold:
That's what I figured. I put a post up in a forum but no one seems to replying to posts there. I also don't what this chat is attached to.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
    General chat as it implies
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigArnold, try posting in the "switch noob paradise" thread
  • B @ BigArnold:
That's where I put it. But like I said other people's posts from a day or two ago have no responses. I'm not sure if the chat is part of the Nintendo forum that I'm on or a part of the website as a whole.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigArnold, part of the website as a whole
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    then try making a thread
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
wait you are too new to be able to do that
  • B @ BigArnold:
That's fine. I'll find my way.

@BigArnold you put the fusee or hekate.bin in the hekate/ payloads folder, or use app to push the payload to switch while its in rcm mode

  • B @ BigArnold:
The problem is is that TegraGUI isn't detecting my Switch despite it being plugged in and in RCM or maintenance mode.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Did you click install driver inside the tegra app.
  • B @ BigArnold:
I did all of that stuff and it seemed successful but still nothing. The only thing different from the guide I used was that my device wasn't showing up as APX but rather Nintendo Switch.
  • B @ BigArnold:
I did it inside the Tegra app and Zadig.
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Try a different USB c cable, or different USB port on your pc.
  • B @ BigArnold:
I tried a different port and don't have another cable. I'm fairly certain there's no issue with the equipment I'm using.
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Some cheap USB c cables don't send data, they only charge
  • B @ BigArnold:
The cable is usually used to connect my controller to my switch's dock.
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Only other thing Id suggest is using a phone/tablet and use the Rekato app
