Burnout Legends Soundtrack Tag Editor
So, recently, I decided to install Adrenaline on my Vita and give some good old PSP games a new go on the system.
In the decided games collection, came the good old Burnout Legends, with its fantastic gameplay!
But the soundtrack.... Could use a little tweaking. Since we're talking about a game with +10 years, right?
Well, this is where this little tool comes to shine!
Back in the days, this tool was very usefull in editing out the tag of the trax of the game!
After a quick Google search, it seems this tool has been MIA for quite some time now. Luckily, I burn almost everything on DVD! XD
So, back from the dead, here it is: Burnout Legends Soundtrack Tag Editor (this is version 1.1, aka version 2 ??)
This tool was created by knalle.
Download here: http://www.mediafire.com/file/yq556yptwjhuo1b/BurnTag2.rar/file
The above RAR package includes the BurnTag2 tool, and a few extra information files needed to get you started.
Instructions are simple:
1) Grab yourself a ISO/CSO of the game (don't use Platinum versions, global files won't work with the tool).
2) Extract the global files of the ISO (UMDGen for this).
3) Use those global files on this tool to edit the tags of the music of the game.
4) Save the edited globals, and replace the ones present in the ISO. (in my case, I even used the same global file for all languages).
For the music:
1) Grab Codemasters_EACSetup
2) Convert your desired musics (up to 21 musics) from WAV/MP3 to the TOC format
3) rename the TOC files to MUS files, accordingly
4) Replace the ones present in the ISO with the ones you just created!
Simple! Also, I think there's some bug in the converter, some musics ended up not playing on my edited ISO (2 of them, in fact). I don't know why these specific 2 did not play in-game, maybe something went wrong during convertion, so, don't be surprised if 1 or 2 musics end up not playing in game, for some unknown reason.
