Dumping 360 ISOs with God2iso vs a 0800 drive flashed with custom firmware.

Consider these two methods for dumping 360 ISOs:

• Installing the game to a USB flash drive on an actual 360 console and then use God2iso on a PC to create a 360 ISO.
• Get a 0800 drive and flash it with custom firmware and then make a 360 ISO.

Questions:

Would these two methods create the same ISO ? with the same MD5 ?

If I use the first method, will my game ISO have the same MD5 as the one reported on Redump.org ?

this is not possible. when you rip a game into god, with nxe2god or iso2god, it rips the security sectors. there's no way to get them back from god or jtag rip. they're gone, so theoretically, I've never heard of god2iso, but if it exists, it would have to be a different checksum.

Definitely not.

After some testing with a Redump ISO, I've come to the conclusion that while GOD2ISO does work, it's not Redump-accurate.

Test method:
Redump -> ISO2GOD (no image repack) -> GOD2ISO
7.29GB -> 7.08GB -> 7.04GB
