In this guide I will show you how to play FF7: Before Crisis on PSP:
First, head to https://archive.org/details/rpg-2-kpp-012-b-04.7z and download the .zip file, once downloaded extract it to your PSP/GAMES folder, and make a folder called “games” inside. Next, go to https://rpgmaker.net/games/?tag=ADV and download the Before Crisis Remake, extract it, and put the folder inside the PSP/GAMES/games/ folder. Next, go to the RPG maker app on your PSP and load RPG_RT.ldb and it should work.
This will also work with all RPG maker 2000-2003 games, have fun!

What kind of PSP did you use? I had better success after I overclocked mine.
No version of RPGMAKER on a portable device can play cutscenes. Keep that in mind when playing.

As I have said several times in previous posts in this thread, I own a PSP 3004, so identical to yours.

Saint Seiya Densetsu report:

I have made other attempts, changing the location of the folders, but the result does not change. The eboot of rpg2k doesn't load some mp3 files (eg the music of the start menu), and doesn't load some png graphics files (eg when it asks if you want to skip the intro, the frame with the two alternatives doesn't appear): here the game crashes.

I loaded a save taken from the PC. It still skips some mp3 files, and when I arrived at the combat screen (Seiya vs Cassius) part of the graphics and menus does not appear, then the game crashes.

So some graphics and sound files are not read, who knows why....
I'm waiting for someone else who is interested to report his results about this issue.

I stop caring about Before Crisis because they never bother to release it outta Japan. They should of inserted it into Crisis Core for convenience sake.

Before Crisis is a strange game in general. its a n impressive game for a cell phone. After playing the official demo on the W51H, I like seeing some people trying to make this game playable. Some have tried to find it but failed. What’s weird about this is that their is a BREW version of the game, there is proof of English version of the game. But SE abandoned it. not sure what Before Crisis will look like in Ever Crisis. But this was interesting to find.
