Gaming ISO File Games. How to play them on PS3 Multiman

Are you using a version with Cobra or without? I'm not familiar with anything besides Rebug, but it seems from a quick google search that the versions with Cobra have it always on, in which case you may need to replace your CFW with one that supports Cobra.

I have that same problem with the same game but I'm using HEN.

System: 4.84
HEN: 2.3.1

1 - I tried to run CoD4: MW(ISO format) on Multiman = ISO TYPE: 32 / ERROR: ENCRYPTED/INVALID ISO
2 - I converted from ISO to folder format and tried to play = Error 80010017
3 - I updated the game = The game opens and displays the CoD4:MW logo but quickly returns to XMB.

It seems a Cod4 problem...

Hen is supposed to load modified eboots but has trouble with some

I fixed many games black screening etc on hen by resigning the eboot to 3.55

You really should just install Rebug as it's a lot easier to use.
You install Rebug, then you choose something like Managunz or irisman or webman and use that to run your games.
Managunz allows you to create a shortcut on your xmb for your games so you don't need to open your manager all the time

OKAY lets get it cleared.

First. i got it scond hand from my neighbour whose gone to USA for higher studies. I was telling u info which I saw in my PS3.

Second. I was scared to split the iso file as i didnt know if it worked with it. Using ps3isotools, splitting it made it easy.

Third, Ithought multiman was the cfw but i was wrong.now i dont know what cfw it is on. it shows ferrox whenever i switch it on so i guess its ferrox.

Fourth, If needed u could ask me to send imgs of system info which i cud provide.

Fifth, I managed to download oe game and so im confident about downloading games to my ps3. i got it 2 years ago.

Hey Friends, I recently downloaded COD4MW and when i extracted it, it came into .iso file{single file} I am new to this type of situation. Also copying was a problem so I wanted to split the file but didnt as I feared if it worked with .iso file. Need Help how to proceed.

use ntfs (don't have experience with this) or use an ethernet or crossover cable to ftp the game to the internal hdd. in both cases, they go in the PS3ISO folder if it's a ps3 game, enable cobra if it's not already enabled, then boot the game with irisman, managunz, or what I personally use, webman mod. do not use multiman. it is extremely outdated.
