Personally I would take it as an opportunity to delete/lose facebook, however you probably want to prevent your contacts from being spammed with "help I have fallen and can't get up I am still in [ctrl+F where is the last holiday/business trip], giz money". If you have other means of contacting your less savvy grandma, aunts, uncles and whatnot you have on there then do that fairly soon as well to say that.

I generally find two factor as dubious at best but hey, certainly not going to say don't use it like I do most people and VPNs.

Anyway in days of old change password and do your nastiness was the order of attack, later get in and change email (presumably to some other hacked email -- resist urge to spambomb that one you found) so user can't just press "forgot password" became the order of the day. Facebook, as useless/evil as they are, however know this so they provide options for people to get back in using combos of passwords and old emails, possibly some other info (the link below says make it a computer/phone you previously used as that might be harder to fake), especially if it is still in the hours since the change. You need to find this https://www.facebook.com/help/105487009541643/ looks like a start.

The haveibeenpwned and such services can give an indication but they are mostly built from public dumps of things, and there might be some forum somewhere you joined and that got hacked but not publicly released yet, someone might have shoulder surfed you (it is quite easy to do from not inconsiderable distances, especially as most people don't go in for good passwords https://xkcd.com/936/ , never mind recording it for zoom and enhance at 0.25x speed) or one of your devices might have some kind of compromise (could also be someone found an old phone/laptop/tablet you neglected to wipe).

I had my gmail account stolen from me in January of 2001 because I used a weak password. They got into my PayPal and wreaked Havok on my life for MONTHS. They also turned on the Google Authenticator app, so I can't get my account back. But the biggest thing I lost was my Pokemon GO account, since I used my Gmail to login. I spent a lot of time and money in that game that I'll never get back. But since then, I have 2FA turned on in every account of mine. It's annoying, but I'm never gonna let myself get hacked that easily ever again. It was my fault for using such a pathetic password.

As much as it sucks, OP... Learn from this experience.

Either you have a asshole friend or a nemesis. You really need to watch your phone and use 2FA like stated before but if someone close is doing this 2FA is worthless unless you keep close watch on device.
