@EZ-Flash2 any idea why Classic NES Series/Famicom Mini support was dropped and still hasn't been fixed on the latest kernel update? I'm happy that you're still updating the flashcart, that's nice of you! But that's a bug that's been there for years, and it would be great to have it finally fixed :D

If they continue to not answer, I'll go ahead and post the fix I made for the Classic NES / Famicom Mini series. I'll probably fork simplelight if Sterophonick is ok with it.

SimpleLight already has Classic NES/Famicom Mini support, because it's based on the first kernel release.

@EZ-Flash2 (representative), I just would like an up-to-date kernel that works correctly, no weird things to go thru. A good experience.

It was working before, the brand has a lot of experience, I don't get why we still have to keep asking for this. I thought you already had it fixed, and it was just a matter of whenever something else made an update necessary enough - or at least that's what you said.

Again, you already even had the excuse to update the kernel again, and didn't fixed it. I think everyone has been spending more energy trying to tell you this, than the one y'all would've used fixing it all these years.

Also, EverDrive GBA doesn't supports Classic NES/Famicom Mini titles iirc. You would be the only flashcart on the market to properly support it. I don't get why the hesitation.

anyway you can add the v1.04 kernel as well
I can indeed. I'm going to release an update to the current kernel first as a test though, then I'll update it.

*sigh* Unsuprizingly, the EZ-Flash team continues to ignore their customers. So, I have to matters into my own hands now and release my fix for a problem THEY should be fixing because it is an issue with THEIR product.

Here's a test update that fixes the Classic NES / Famicom Mini patch so it works for both overdumps (4MB) and proper dumps (1MB). This update also finally fixes saving in Famicom Mini's 4, 5, 9, and 10, which have NEVER saved properly on any EZ-Flash flash cart.

The DE version is untested as I do not own a DE cart.

What is folder.h? I didn't touch the file structure of the source code. Also, this is why this is a test build.

Edit: I linked the non-de kernel. Link updated.

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
