please help? Nothing on my New 3ds XL turns on..

Like the title says, neither the screen or the lights turn on... The 3ds was in good condition, never gave problems. Ive seen online people say it might be the battery, but if it was the case, wouldnt it still turn on when connected with the charging cable?

Check the battery with multimeter.
It must provide at least some functionality. Without battery 3DS console do not turn on, even with external power supply connected.

Have you tried powering it on with the charger, but without the battery?

First you say NEW 3ds, then you come back with "Never gave problems"

Either way, I tend to think it still needs to atleast get 1% in charged state for it to run connected.

There is different versions of 3DS- the 3DS original and the N3DS (New3DS). I know it's confusing.
