So, we all know that sometimes getting the correct firmware or the upgrade .nds file its a pain in the ass, ill be grabbing and looking for the files that you need to use your OLD R4 cards.

Note: Remembers that the firmware does not mean that your card will work on v11 without patching the whitelist on the 3ds or using the patches on some custom firmwares, as well as using the TW Slot Launcher from Apache Thunder.

Remember that the clones that use the .hk domain are the ones with the label not linear, more like a splash year logo, as you can see on the white ones posted above.

I have tried the http://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/Ultimate_Flashcart_Download_Index however, some of the websites are down. and some other don't got the files from old cards that they used to make.

How Do I Request An R4 Firmwares?

If you need a firmware, feel free to ask!, if im not around, maybe someone can help you, and i can add it to the .zip file later on!.

Note: For requesting an r4 firmware, please post a picture of your card, and possible state the domain/vendor. as example:

"r4i-sdhc.com" or "r4isdhc.com" or "r4i-sdhc.hk"

I bought an R4i Gold from goodwill but it was sold by r4-pro.com which is out of business. (They didn't even release a firmware which works on 1.4.5 ;_

Also i have the one that has the "NEW" Written on the sticker, and the screen displays some japanese game by konami when you insert it.

Also that is a big file download for needing specific one of the card, are they all in there?

Its on the 3DS section, due to this being pointed to OLD r4 cards, that are going to be used with the patched 3ds, using the whitelist, or the tw slot launcher.

I remembered this post from a while back.. someone ported WoodR4 firmware 1.62 to work on the Gateway blue cart. You could give it a try.

Nop, it aint normal, if its a www.r4i-sdhc.com original make sure you got your 3ds patched for all the R4 cards, also as i mentioned above, pelase post a picture of your card.

I've got this card (the yellow one) and i cant seem to find the firmware. its suppose to be from R4i-Gold.com but the site is down. I asked in the NDS scetion and i was given firmwares from r4i-gold.eu and from linfoxdomain and both of them dont work.

Btw, that gold card as a kernel expire setting, so after you run the card you will get "expired bla bla bla", just set your date to 2009. and it will work ;D
