Probably either 2.1.0 or 2.2.0. The numbers after XAW7 is a continuous number, so the lower the number the lower the preinstalled firmware. With that knowledge you can compare your serials to the already know serials and get the desired firmware.Anyone know what this one might be XAW700048***** ? Also do the numbers after that matter? I can get one of 3 switches that all share that serial but the last 5 numbers I blurred are different, do I pick the lowest number or it doesn't matter?
It will probably be 2.1.0, based on the spreadsheet.Anyone know what this one might be XAW700048***** ? Also do the numbers after that matter? I can get one of 3 switches that all share that serial but the last 5 numbers I blurred are different, do I pick the lowest number or it doesn't matter?

It was recently vandalized and hasn't been fixed by the creator. I created a new tab with the serial numbers where they belong. For some reason the spreadsheat is not displaying properly for me, It just says serial in each row and the rest of the bar is grey without any info, Thanks anyway!

I see two possibilities:Why would someone ruin it?
Or:I see two possibilities:
My guess is Option #1.
- Somebody was being a jerk.
- Somebody doesn't want Tempers buying homebrew-compatible Switch systems.
That falls under Option #2.Or:
3. Somebody was a Nintendo mole and wanted to screw hackers up.
IThat falls under Option #2.
There is a file history so the owner of the sheet could use the last version before it was destroyed...anyways without revoking the non logged in write rights this will happen again and again (the no vandalism tab got cleared already aswell)...stupid little internet rambos. Mostly it's someone who wasn't able to get a < 3.0.1 console.
3.0.0
XAW700059 - XAW700079
Silly question but is there any way to check firmware version without taking the protective plastic off the switch? I bought a switch in the correct serial number range I think (XAW700067) but I'm paranoid based on some of the comments here. I can turn the switch on through the plastic but it immediately wants me to put the Joycons on in order to proceed.
I was hoping there might be some sort of recovery boot option where I can see the Firmware version on screen without going through the initial setup.
