i def agree but i don’t think that should be the only reason why someone uses they/them. it makes more sense if you just want to be referred that way in general yk..imma say it: your cringe if a feminine person is all it takes to make your VC rancid. i used to use fem avatars in mmos, every time at least 1 dude will be sexist and hit you up at the same time.

I agree. And it doesn't matter how much money a game rakes in, because studios can seemingly go under without warning. I hate that the video game industry is so fragile.Games shouldn’t cost more than 40$

It's not that simple.
Here's a good video about it if you have 10 minutes to spare:
It's just the fact the development studio is separate from the publisher which in turn is separate from whatever company owns and runs it into the ground, and the slash-and-burn management style that intentionally destroys assets for short-term profit, bonuses, and let's not forget ~s~h~a~r~e~h~o~l~d~e~r~s~

It's why Musk is getting paid huge bonuses despite absolutely tanking all the companies he's involved with.
There's a story going around about how the "all-you-can-eat shrimp" promotion caused Red Lobster to declare bankruptcy, and a string of jokes about how people ate them out of business. Which is total bullshit designed to take attention away from the (mis)management practices that actually ran them under.

Among other things.
It's all about nabbing a short-term profit and jumping ship while everything burns.
