Gaming Unreal Engine 4 to not support Wii U

Geoff Keighley GTTV host say that Wii U won’t support the next generation Unreal Engine 4. Keighley referred to a GDC comment from Epic CEO Mike Capps which apparently stated that Wiiu was Unreal Engine 3 and that 4 won’t be running on Wii U.

“No, at GDC Mike Capps said Wii U will be Unreal Engine 3,” he said when asked about it by a user.

He's saying he can't confirm anything yet, not even hint at it and is backing up the fact that Wii U is running on UE3, something we already know.

Sigh, If anyone here actually read the tweet... he was asked if he could give a hint, Geoff replied with a no and said that UE3 was confirmed last year.
UE4 is a scalable engine very capable of running on the Wii U if hardware rumors are to be believed. It will even be capable of running on tablets ffs.

For fucks sake, who gives a damn?! I swear, all oh these hardcore graphics whores are getting on my nerves. I could care less if Nintendo goes head to head with Sony and Microsoft ever again. If the Wii-U ended up being the Wii of next Gen, I would be perfectly fine. I really really hope that Nintendo spites everyone's and continue their current home console path

According to inside info on dev kits, they have beefed it up since last years E3. Improvements to RAM and GPU mostly.

I don't think they have messed with the CPU chips, always been a 4 core.

Op got be feeling a bit silly right now after trying so hard to promote this.
I have a feeling it will run it because they haven't outright denied it from
the get go or could be wishful thinking on my part.

Even I got some fear that if it can't run the engine in some way, we may miss
out in some games.
