Hey guys I have a question about changing from a 400GB SD card to a 1TB SD card and they both are in FAT 32 Format. Everything is fine till I get to the emuMMC thats where it looks like it gets tricky. It will not copy the files over. I have made a partition with the SD card and nothing I try works if anyone has kniowledge on this let me know

Since you have partition-based emuMMC, check this guide (I suggest going with the NxNandManager method as it worked for me).

Yes, you can just update directly to the latest firmware. I recommend using Daybreak. But you don't install or even re-install Atmosphere nor Hekate; they are just files you place on the SD card. You can download the latest version of Atmosphere from its GitHub page and Hekate from its respective site. If you pirate any games, you will also need to update your patches which you can do so by downloading the latest ones from this thread. Lastly, delete any themes you may have installed as those are firmware-specific and will not function when you update your firmware.
I think I did something wrong. after I update firmware for daybreak I got this error when rebooting should I click on delete?

There is your problem, exFAT has higher chance of file corruption.
what do I do then? should I just click on delete? idm having it delete my games and have a Clean fresh SD. But what I'm worried is I might Brick it or remove important stuff in the SD for booting to atmosphere

Just backup all of your files on the SD card to your computer, format the SD card to FAT32, put the files back onto the card, and try booting Atmosphere again.

Did you change the location of the Nintendo folder i.e. the folder where the games are stored?
Do you have latest sigpatches / sys-patch?
thanks. Yeah i did but for some reason my old games are not working anymore but the delete prompt is gone now I might need to reinstall all of them again. I keep getting that error "this software is not currently on the console"

Hello everyone, I have a switch lite mariko chipped that has been giving me problems. I tried to downgrade using daybreak, and I accidentally didn't let the process finish. Now my switch lite turns on then reboots everytime with a error code. I'm able to access the switch menu, when I try to load something it just gives me the error code. I'm not able to use the micro sd card either because it says "update to use sd card". Any help will be appreciated, thank you 🙏

In hekate, under tools there is a button with something like "bit fix" ( sorry, but I don't have the switch right now ). It worked for me when I cloned the old SD into the new one.
Give it a try.

I would just restore the nand backup that you made right after installing the chip. Then everything will turn back to normal. Why did you want to downgrade?

Thanks for the reply, I'm not sure if I have the nand backup because I purchased the switch lite from a seller. I wanted to downgrade because I was having issues when I updated, but that was couple months back. The one problem is I can't access hekate because it asks me for a "system update" to use the micro sd card. When I try to update the system it reboots within a matter of seconds, so I can't do much.

What about for emulation? Just curious if the file being compressed so much would have some sort of adverse effect.
With Yuzu and Ryujinx emulators, it must be a NSP, not NSZ, but you can use an app called SAK (Swiss Army Knife) to decompress them on pc to a NSP. Also some older installers on Switch will not install NSZ, only XCI or NSP, but most newer installers do NSZ.
