Compilation of WiiU Tutorials (From Setting Rednand/Sysnand CFW to Installing Stuff)

I originally started this guide on github for my personal use since I found it a little bit annoying having to go through multiple guides in order to have my WiiUs ready for use (yes I have multiple WiiUs don't ask why), so I compiled and uploaded every file necessary and included all the steps related to “How to use”, starting with setting Rednand or Sysnand with iosuhax, region free the console and finally how to install games, updates and dlc.

I have tested everything there so I'm sure that it works if you follow the instructions.

I made the guide inspired in Plailects guide (from the 3ds scene) and I liked the idea of having all the files ready along with the steps to use everything, which simplifies a lot most guides that first make you compile everything.

Here is the guide: If you like it and find it useful you are free to use it:

Nice, I just did mine recently and could've used this 48 hours ago instead of going through the heart ache of multiple guides as well.

Your guide says to copy the contents of Install.rar to the sd card but it doesn't say where to get this file.

Edit

Nevermind, its the system config tool. Perhaps you should make that a little clearer as if your following the guide step by step and downloading as you go (like I did) then its really not clear that install.rar is the system config tool.

I just want to take a backup copy of my sysNAND so am I right in saying I only need to do steps 1 - 9?

And is this stable or still chance of screwing my sysNAND (I think no chance from what I read on the forum, but still..)?

Are you alright with people making some edits and making a pull request? Looking over the guide right now, theres some info missing on the HBL, and mentioning the HomeBrewAppStore would be useful.

Thanks, updated that part to clarify.

If you only want to have a nand backup then yes, you only need steps 1-9.

Eh... just remove fw.img 'cause is copyrighted material and you can't share it.

Plailect's guide had a lot of copyrighted material linked so I thought it was alright as long as I don't posted it directly on this forum.

I thought of using the AppStore as main link but I'm not sure how fast the latest releases get updated there. I'll add it and see how it goes. And I'm ok with pull requests/comments if I missed something or anyhing isn't clear enough.

is brainage rom same for brain training pal?
I think you should ask in this thread. (I remember reading they are the same and that you should only change the id or something like that but I'm not sure)
I was thinking in also adding Contenhax/Haxchi to my guide compilation but since elections day the exchange rate peso to dollar went crazy and its just impossible for me to pay those 10 dollars for a DS game (those 10 bucks are more than a day worth of salary).
