It sounds like you might be experiencing an issue with the disc drive specifically for Xbox Series X games. This could be due to a variety of factors such as a faulty drive or alignment issue. Consider contacting Xbox support for troubleshooting or seeking professional repair services if the problem persists after checking for any visible obstructions or dirt in the disc drive.
Thanks ChatGPT.

Gently clean the laser with a Q-tip and IPA or other electronics cleaner. This should always be the first step, if that doesn't help you may be looking at a failing laser, but it would be strange for the laser to fail so soon since the Series X is only a few years old.
Xbox One and Xbox Series both use bluray discs, you'd think it would have problems reading both of them, Xbox Series games might be using higher capacity (dual/quad layer) blurays though which would be harder to read.

Please don't ever use AI chatbots to answer questions here. It's unbelievably obvious and not helpful.

What the above said--could be dirt affecting the reader, or the unit could be broken altogether.
Not too hard a fix if you know what you're doing. Best of luck!
