I had a game where we were getting owned to the point that we're gonna lose.
Until I took the lead.
And we won.

i did. but they won't listen.
problem with dota 2 is, most people don't know if they're actually good.

it's just problem solving actually.
for example, there's an enemy who's got high damage? buy something that could impale him.
you could kill foes in an instant, only that you can't get beside them. buy something that would put you beside them without them notice, kelen's(blink) dagger for example.
there's an invisible enemy in your lane and you can't kill them coz they vanish? buy sentry wards that would make them visible.

Were they Brazilian or Russian?

try to hide and snipe someone , or only hide....

The thing is, matchmaking matches you with people in YOUR skill tier.

So basically, Valve is telling you that you are in the lowest of lowest tier(with the noobs).

Just get better and they'll give you better teammates.

lol. 8 years of dota 1 and i'm with the noobs?
lowest for me is average casual player.
i consider 5 deaths in a match disgusting. unless i'm tanking them which idk much if i die as long as the enemies die with me and my allies safe.

kills/deaths and wins/losses DOES NOT factor into your skill level. For some people, it doesn't matter how many years of DotA Allstars they've played, they still can't last hit and deny to gain significant level/gold advantages.

and now that i'm refreshed... i think it's the ranking system pressuring me.
i could be a perfectionist sometimes and seeing a 10 wins 21 lose gets to me. whereas even if i lose playing dota 1 lan. i don't really flame my teamates if they suck, i'm even friendly.


and besides, i'm casual, not competitive...damn those numbers.

It's perfectly possible to be doing a better job at completing an objective while still dying a lot. There is no direct relation between kills, deaths and completing an objective.

well it still fits. since in dota 2, sometimes i play as tank/sacrifice for my carry.
i would gladly die a lot if it benefits the carry. not pointless dying though.
