Screw over both christian god and the devil?

Feel free to move it to the edge, into my blog or better yet delete the entirety of the thread.

This is outright offensive.
The only way Christian and Satanist will stop fighting is to break both entities (or if my suspicion was right, they are the same being, not even two sides).
If one must exist with another the only logical choice is to get rid of both.

Well, considering the satanic commandments are all about leaving people alone and destroying people that won't leave you alone, and christianity is about recruiting and condemning those that disagree with you, it seems only one of those is the problem. Nice random, nonsensical topic btw.

Believing that a "God" created the world is the same as believing Mickey Mouse created the world.

I don't condone in this crime called religion.

Well, the devil killed less people than god in the bible.

The devil killed 10 people, and that was part of a bet allowed by god himself. God meanwhile, killed millions. He killed 14,700 people just for moaning about god's killings. I'm an atheist, but i'd rather hang with the devil, he's not a murderer.

let's not forget that Satan was the one who helped us obtain free will. He's also the one who with open arms accepts all of God's "Unwanted children."
I honestly don't have any issue with anyone of any religion, in fact I really don't care what another person believes or doesn't believe in, just as long as they are nice person.
Personally, I proudly call myself a Theistic Satanist, I do believe there is a Lucifer and a Satan, but I don't believe in the Bible versions nor in the Biblical God.

I kind of do have an issue with religious people. They're lazy thinkers. They think that life isn't for them, it's for a fictional cloud man who dictates them. At with the devil, you get some fun. He doesn't blame you for being the human you are, you can gamble, and love, and lust and it doesn't make you any worse off. I don't believe in any deity, as I personally feel that it's rediculous to believe in any kind of occult is real.

But you made a good point "just don't be a dick", basically.

Satan seems like a pretty chill dude, if I was forced into a religion I'd want it to be Satanism.

The universe is made up in some sort of a balance
You can't have light without darkness
You can't have warmth without coldness
you can't have plus without minus
Take one thing away from that balance and everything comes crashing down and stops to exist like in a way it implodes back to nothingness=.
So yeah god is universal and in perfect balance but that doesn't stay the same. Chaos theory = in the end everything will turn to chaos and cease to exist.

Except darkness is the absence of light energy, darkness is not the opposite of light. Amusing light is the opposite of light, see young's double slit experiment.
There is a hard limit on how cold things can get (absolute zero being a fairly fundamental concept in thermodynamics and thus all other sciences)
Maths is a human construct. In this case see also imaginary and complex numbers, or indeed note that there is no such thing as negative pressure.

Also that is not chaos theory, it is a well regarded theory for the end of the universe but chaos theory is the theory that small actions can make for a certain amount of randomness at the macro scale.

So in order to kill the devil, we have to kill god too?
This would actually be a good RPG concept.. :O
But, it's not true what your ranting on about...

Yeah it is. In the beginning there wasn't even light to begin with. Light was created from darkness and nothingess. Also light can't exist without warmth, energy friction whatever and warmth can't exist without energy and light and energy can't exist without the other. All perfect harmony and balance but there's still chaos wich will end everything in the end. and then you should look up chaos theory since it's not only what you said.

How do you know there was only darkness? I would think the big bang would be pretty bright.

@Crystal the Glaceon

Out of curiousity, what's the difference between "There is a Satan, but not the biblical one" and "There is a god, but not the biblical one"? Both seem vague enough to potentially mean the same thing.

yeah and the big bang is born out of nothingness since there weren't any law of physics like we know now today. In string theory every universe has it own laws and because ours didn't even exist at the time there was nothingness meaning no light at all since there wasn't even anything to begin with exept an universal force kept in some sort of a cube
