Amazing Find

So today is Wednesday and I guess you can say it was normal Wednesday went to town saw my girlfriend and spend all day with her

So we decided to go to an Op Shop and look around as usual nothing caught my interest until I looked in a cabinet and by god I saw something that is expensive on eBay and amazing and it only cause $8 so I had no choice to buy it.

It wasn't a Tamagotchi or a Pet Rock or even those Furby Dolls but it was none other than Pokémon Crystal it self and I was immediately shocked told the lady to open the cabinet so I can purchase it...


So I just Tried it and The Save Battery is DEAD

I replaced all my batteries in Red, Yellow, Gold and Crystal. I also have my original Pokemon team from 16~ years ago backed up in my GameShark GBC savestate. :P

Yeah imagine 16 years into one Pokemon Yellow save. It's hard to boot into my GameShark GBC though. The plastic casing is decaying... lol.

That's pretty cool man. That game goes for like 50 on ebay. I also managed to snag a copy for around 20 buck but damn getting it at 8 dollars is incredible considering the value. Make sure it is not fake and if you need to replace the battery you can go the easy route; black electrical tape, the correct or better battery, a small flathead, the correct toolbit to open the cart, and don't break the metal tabs attached to the original battery. Think there are youtube videos going over doing this method, which is great unless you want to solder it together.

Well I'm pretty sure its legit bro its from USA and I'm a In NZ lol and I will replace the battery at some point lol

had some doubts about the serial code on the left side. searched it up and you have a legit copy. lucky...

    @K3Nv2 He was looking into consoles for his house anyway (for my younger siblings and himself) and I had a spare XSX and Switch I ended up selling him at pretty steep cuts. I would just give them to him, but I did buy them with the intent to sell them... and college is super expensive.
