Help me Name a Dog

Ichigo (it's Japanese for "strawberry," not the Bleach character)
Pochika (the name of Rydia's pet summon monster in the Japanese version of FFIV DS)

Sumi (means "black ink" in Japanese)
Interceptor (the FFVI ninja character Shadow's pet dog)

I think Sumi sounds the best.

But it feels too Eastern to me.... doesn't really suit a black labrador IMO

Liz sounds the best for me, your buddies might pun lizzy as lazzy (lazy) lol, and worse if that dog is actually lazy

Oh and just so you know, this is what sumi looks like. It's made of a combination of lamp soot and burned pine ground into a fine powder and mixed with plant oils. In its pure form sumi (&#22696 is a solid block of ink about the size of your finger, used in Japanese calligraphy. You fill a small stone tray with a little water, then grind sumi into the tray and mix it with the water until it's the consistency you want. Then you dip your brush into the tray and use it to make stuff like this.

The one on the far right, closest to the foreground says "墨色の美" which means "the beauty of the color of jet-black."

@Raestloz: Why wouldn't the color of jet-black not suit a black lab?
