switch is way to overhyped

Comments

Given the portability and use as a home console, large library, and appeal to everyone, it pretty much does all the things a Nintendo system needs to. If you're talking build quality or online, maybe, but those aren't hyped, anyway.

wait a minute what the fuck
you cant just stroll in here trying to start a argument like a 15 year old milo yiannopoulos wannabe expecting people to shit themselves and have a meltdown at your opinion if you're not even going to bother explaining your case.
instead you just wrote "change my mind", as if that communicates or contributes anything to anything here.

goddammit i came into this damn post about ready to put on a cape for you but now im pissed because they're isnt even anything interesting happening here. this is buillshit. i should be entertained right now but im not.

this is your fault.

since you just made your claim and didn't back it up at all, nobody in the comments can acknowledge any specific point to refute or agree with. now all of the comments are bland and my day is ruined.

the only exchange possible in dipshit threads like this go like this;
User 1: "I think that (insert hot take opinion)"
User 2: "I dissagree with (insert hot take opinion)"
The fucking end.

i was so happy and exited but now im just disappointed
and depressed
and angry
and... horny for some reason.

whatever. still a bullshit thread.

tldr; message aside, this thread is totally lame because it tries to start a fight but is too lazy to do it successfully.
I rate this thread a 13/100

im going to take a fat shit now

What does "hype" even mean four years after its release? Everybody knows what to expect of Switch by now, which isn't a whole lot other than cheap portability. The only hype that might exist now is for Steam Deck, since that will actually be able to run a much larger library of AAA games at stable frame rates.

yeah it is especially when it's just a dumbed down invidia shield portable than can plug into a tv. designed to play playstore ports and nindies. can't even do 60fps properly without shitting itself

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I think you only get like 425gb on a series s hard drive, so you get 1, 2 next gen games max
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, so you need to have another series s if you wanna play more games?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Nuh you buy extra HD n add to it, but not cheap
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, how can a console have more than 1 hard drives?
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
usb expansion? I know the PS4 can do this
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, oh Yea I recall my PS3 can do that
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    Modded ofc
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
Speaking of my PS3 i havent downloaded any games yet bc my wifi is too slow
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
and also because blackouts here are very common and that could damage the console
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
Do you have a surge protector or an UPS?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea but to play the next gen games, you must have those games on internal, or buy the official ssd expansion cards, which are expensive
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, dunno what each one of those are
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, my PS3 was already modded when my dad bought it for me and my brother
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
A surge protector is a device that protects your electronics from fluctuations. I recommend having your console plugged into one of those
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
An UPS is even better because it has an internal battery that keeps your system on even if the power goes out, but it's much more expensive obviously
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, oh i recall seeing one in some in the houses of some relatives, including my dad's apartment
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, although whatever device we plug into them stops getting power anyways lol
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
    that's weird
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, and oh i was talking about ups
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    No not that one
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
Surge protectors are what i was talking about
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
Yea I got confused for a bit
