Amazon.com, Elusive Wacom Stylus and Testosterone - Shit that Happens #16

As I ranted in the previous episode of your favorite blog: "Random Shit that Happens" I've been trying to get a GCN controller for my Wii.
BUT I've decided against it and get something better... a new Active Stylus for my Touchscreen Laptop.
There's this product from this brand called Wacom, I don't know if you've heard from it :unsure:... anyway... these Wacom guys have made a "Universal" Stylus that would work with "every" Touchscreen Protocol... not sure why "Windows INK" and "Wacom EMR" are considered "Universal" when there's plenty more... but anyway...
Since I'm locked out from my Mercado Libre account (details here) I've decided to use my Amazon account instead, which was made probably 4 years ago but never used it because Mercado Libre is that good... and still is (was?)

Hear me out folks. this is where the shit beggins:
In Mercado Libre, someone is selling a Wacom Bamboo Ink 2nd Gen for $600.00mxn.
I was like: "Shiiiiiiit! I can't buy that because I'm locked out from my account!"
So I checked Amazon because I remembered I had an account there, and looked for the product itself, that is: "Wacom Bamboo Ink 2nd Gen" and indeed found the little fucker at the cheap price of $1434.00mxn. Didn't gave a second thought and just "bought" the fucker.
This little fucker Wacom Bamboo Ink stylus has been evading me for years because everywhere, and I mean EVERYWHERE is around $3500mxn to $4000mxn and finding it at literally half the price was awesome.
So, I paid for my stuff this friday and supposedly was going to receive it yesterday with another product that I'm needing.

Amazon, is sending my products with DHL, don't know if that's a thing everywhere else, but it's a mail and delivery service here... whatever.

Amazon, yesterday, began sending me messages since 2pm with the following: "DHL couldn't deliver your product because there was nobody to receive it"
Wait... I've been here all fucking day, and nobody has rang my door. WTF?
Amazon continued with: "Next Delivery attempt scheduled at: 4:45pm"
Ok... yeah... sure, finally.
At 5:00pm I got another Amazon notification with: "DHL couldn't deliver your product because there was nobody to receive it" "Next delivery attempt at: 7:45pm"
Ok... yeah... maybe these DHL fuckers got lost or something.
At 8:00pm, I got another Amazon notificatoin with: "DHL returned your product to the delivery service address" "Next delivery attempt, tomorrow at 8:00pm"

When I checked that notification, shit got even worse.

Out of all the products I was supposed to receive yesterday, my Wacom Bamboo Ink 2nd Gen stylus got cancelled by the seller.
THIS IS THE ONE I WAS MORE EXCITED TO GET :hateit:

I got in "contact" with the seller and didn't got a reply. So I literally spent 2 hours searching how to reach Amazon directly to report my cancelled product, and I found "Client Help/Service" page with the most useless UI ever.
Apparently this "Help" page is within Amazon.com.mx, but this stupid "Help" page couldn't find my cancelled product, and it offered me help with all the others BUT MY WACOM BAMBOO INK 2ND GEN STYLUS!

I don't know where I clicked, but finally got in Chat support with Amazon. I got replied by a girl called Daniela and she was responding in Spanish.
Like: "Welcome JuanMena to Client Help and Service chat. My name is Daniela. How can I help you today?"
I was like: "I want information about a product that got cancelled by the seller"
And "Daniela" was like: "Ah, I understannd. Please explain the situation"
I typed everything that happened, how I paid for the product, how the product was scheduled for yesterday and never received it and how one seller cancelled my purchase without notification or refund options.

"Daniela" was like: "Unfortunately I can't help you with that. This chat will be on HOLD and I'll redirect it with someone from another department who can help you."

I waited literally for an hour and a half until I got a reply, exactly at 11:30pm.
This someone was typing in Spanish too. This someone told me: "Hi JuanMena. I deeply regret the problem you've encountered with our services. Please explain the situation"
I typed everything again, and this someone replied with: "Unfortunately I can't help you with that because my computer is telling me you made that purchase with Amazon Mexico and you're contacting Amazon USA"
"If it's okay with you, I'll put this chat on HOLD and tomorrow someone from Amazon Mexico will see the message and wll reply to you. Is that okay with you"?

God damnit, I just closed the window, turned off my laptop and went to sleep. I didn't even had dinner because I was fucking mad.
Today I woke up at 5am, like always... and checked Amazon in my phone.
I don't know why the UI is so fucking useless and awful, that even getting help or customer support is a hasle.
Then I noticed something called "Amazon Credit" or some shit like that. I tapped that, and found that the product that got cancelled got "refunded" as "Amazon Gift Card"... but out of the $1434mxn I paid for, only got refunded $1350mxn.
That made me angrier. And not having ate in over two days made me feel even worse. So I first got some food and decided to check if I could get in contact with Amazon to report these fuckers.

Indeed found another site that offers real Customer Support via phone calls... I fucking hate phone calls.

I've had a deep voice since my teens. When I talk, people often thinks or says to me that "I'm angry" because of the sound of my voice. So, phone calls have been a problem since those days when testosterone decided to accumulate in my voice chords instead of making me grow a fucking lumberjack beard.

The spoiler tag might be relevant for the following part: I turned on my lap. Opened every single Amazon window I thought it could be relevant in my laptop (in case I did get real customer support), opened Amazon in my phone, voucher that prooves I paid for the product at hand... and swallowed saliva as I clicked "Request Customer Support as Phone Call"
Less than a minute later, I indeed received a phonecall. Accepted it, and a guy with a south american accent starts talking... I couldn't concentrate in what he was saying, or better said, I barely understood what he was saying because the phonecall had static/noise and his accent made it worse.
To me it sounds like he was Colombian or something. I don't know, can't tell for sure. Anyway...
This guy introduced himself as David, and he asked me to explain everything. I explained from the beggining, how I paid, what I bought, that my packages haven't arrived yet and that one product got cancelled and I couldn't choose a refund method and that the seller in question wasn't responding me at all and how I got in contact with Amazon Mexico but they redirected me with Amazon USA (somehow?) and he understood my problem.

David explained to me that, the seller indeed cancelled the purchase and that I got refunded $1350 because that's how much the product costs... and I was like: "But their ad says $1434 and I paid $1434 for it and it seemed unfair because I didn't even cancelled the purchace"

David asked me to send an email with my voucher as proof that I indeed paid for the product. My GMAIL decided to not show (in my phone) the mail David sent me to my gmail account linked to Amazon. So I had to take the picture with my phone, transfer it via bluetooth to my laptop and send it as an attached file to the mail that David sent me. He was very patient because, if you haven't guessed yet, bluetooth took fucking 4 minutes to send one fucking picture to my laptop.

David then told me that he understood by the tone of my voice that I was very mad at the situation and that he was going to put me on hold because he was going to check if I was able to get the rest of the money as refund. I felt extrmely ashamed and that's the problem I've been having with my voice since my mid teens.

Anyway... David replied once again and he asked me that I must understand that the product costs $1350, and that the "extra" $84 couldn't get refunded. But given all the hasle I've "been through" he offered me a $200.00mxn discount in my next Amazon purchase.

Well... I wasn't expecting that to be honest. :mellow:

I then asked if I could reclaim my $1350 "refund" as cash, but David told me that when a seller refunds as Amazon Gift Card it's not possible to get it as cash because that's not in Amazon's policies.
So I have to spend $1350 + $200.00 in discount in Amazone as digital payment... which sucks because I just found this:

And I was hoping to walk over that Lumen store and pay for my Wacom Bamboo Ink Stylus 2nd Gen with real cash and get it back with me in the safety of my pockets. :hateit:

Once again, Wacom Bamboo Ink 2nd Gen stylus has eluded me... this year it's been the 3rd year in a row that I can't get my hands on it.
It fucking sucks.

But I hope this one works:

Which is something I've also been wanting since last year's release... but just like Wacom's, it's fucking expensive and I just found it in Amazon for $970 but I'm using my $200 discount so... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Amazon... if you're reading this... go fuck yourself. I've never had these kinds of problems with Mercado Libre, which is why ML is the best ever!

Edit: My "Universal" Stardtler stylus doesn't work with neither my phone or my touchscreen laptop. 😂
