I hate people.

No, really. I think maybe somethings wrong with me. Or maybe something is wrong with 11th graders. Maybe both? Well, I admit that I can be socially awkward. It's not that I don't like talking to people, and it's not that I have a problem starting or continuing a conversation. I just get easily annoyed/pissed off at people, which results in me staying away from them and/or ignoring them.

Well anyway, today we had PE again. I'm still stuck with the same team, and will be for the next 5 weeks.

My "team" is composed of:
-A guy who is ok but has very serious anger issues.
-A guy who is terrible.
-A guy who is borderline bad, has anger issues, and hates me.
-An overall nice guy who is good.

I've been sick all week, and for the past month, I've had this really annoying problem with my ear... which I should really get checked out. But yeah, I admit, I wasn't performing to the best of my ability today, but I sure as hell was trying. I always try my best, no matter what.

So we start the game, and immediately, we start losing. Losing really badly. But here's what ticked me off. Every time one of the other team mates would fuck up, no one said anything. However, when I fucked up, the guy that hates me would literally flip out, walk up to me, tell me I'm terrible and I should just leave the team, and continues to call me names and curse at me while I ignore him/tell him he also sucks (which, ironically enough, he never denies or has a comeback for). As the game progresses, I notice that even when I'm not involved in the play at all, I'm the one getting blamed for the loss. Even when I didn't touch the ball or wasn't even near it, these guys would take their anger out on me. And get this; when I would make a great serve or score a point without their useless help, they would completely ignore it and high-five/congratulate each other as if they had just done all the work.

Thank God the bell rang when it did, because I was dangerously close to doing something. I've never been in a fight, and I'd probably do terribly, but these assholes treat me with such disrespect that I sometimes feel like cracking their skull open. Honestly, I'm not the best player out there, but hell, all of them except one guy are pretty bad.

It just sucks knowing that I'm stuck with this team for 5 more weeks. I know things won't change, and I can't just ditch the class or anything because I'm on the last semester and need to pass it to graduate.

Song of the day,

This song is simply amazing. It's from Tokyo Jihen's album "Sports", which is absolutely wonderful. I listened to it in its entirety today and I love it.

And in unrelated news, I'm on Disc 2 of FFXIII! 16 hours in, it's an amazing game!

I drew an ascii picture for you. They always say a picture is worth a thousand words.

What sport is this? For some reason it sounds like volleyball to me, not sure why, that's just what popped into my head.

If it makes you feel any better, it doesn't matter who's on your team, gym class ALWAYS sucks. :P

War, this seems like you're in MY gym class. but i usually cant hold off my anger and throw a punch (but i can happily say i have not got into a fight this year!! :D)

why don't you just talk to somebody like the teacher and ask to switch groups?

as for not liking people..... well i have nothing to say.

High school will always be full of people like that. Just gotta kick the dirt and move on, you know.

Your shit at life, quit the team, kill yourself e.t.c

Happens all the time, they just don't like you and probably like to show it. Just shrug it off and they'll get bored of it, a lot of the time people just want to see you react.

It's not you, it's just high school. Believe me when I say your first month out of that place, you'll look back at on the stupid shit and laugh... it's quite hilarious how most situations (including this one) are quite irrelevant and would never fit into a world without cliques and dipshits you have to see on a daily basis.

TL;DR Stick it out and you'll thrive in the real fucking world where most people behave like grown-ups and assholes get told. It'll be better soon, War. :yay:

щ(゚Д゚щ)

Yeah, you guys are right. I should just keep ignoring them. Just sucks that I get treated so miserably for shit I don't even do.

I thought it was tennis but volleyball makes sense and you cared enough to post here so you cants entirely hate people right?

Oh also, yes, it's volleyball. I guess I forgot to mention that. We play one sport for 10 weeks. These 10 weeks are volleyball.

i thought it was basketball :ha:

Oh, and also, I said that maybe something is wrong with 11th graders because all the kids in my PE class are 11th graders, except for one girl who is a 12th grader like me. The reason why this happened is because in this school, you need 3 years of PE to graduate. In most schools, you only need 2. So when I started this school last year, I was missing a year of PE, and I had to take it.

no it's just those guys in your class.

School sucks. People never get people but at least you never have to deal with P.E. class after high school though.

You might wanna deal with your social avoidance issues before going to university though or you end up an awkward geek like me...

In my school you had to take four! It was broken up like two years of 9/10 gym and two years of 11/12 gym. Of course, each year I'd be in the minority age group, I feel for you.
