I DUN WANNA LIVE IN CANADA!

AND NO ONE'S GONNA MAKE ME! Unless somebody convinces me with some wonderful reasons...A few people I know say that it's dreadful there. Dammit.

Btw, Toronto.

well, how cold does it get there in the winter? tell me because I'm willing to learn :)
anyway you're probably used to the weather there as I'm used to the weather here, and when it gets cold where I live it goes near the zero, sometimes a few degrees below (celcius, of course) and I hate it :P in spring, like now, temperatures are around 20°C which is warm and nice, whilst in summer they can go up to 35 or even more.
anyway, I love Maple Syrup :)))))))

You forgot about the con that you can not participate in a lot of contests because they only apply to the U.S. :teach:

Here in Ottawa (colder then Toronto) it gets from -20° to -5°C. It might sound cold, but it really isn't. Summer goes from around 15°C to 25°C.

We had a really lame winter this year, so it's already like 15°C. :P

You Know you shouldn't be such a pussy, I mean I get you, It's a new culture, with a different weather and all, but still, Canada is a great country and you should be greatful you're going there, I could be worse for you, you could live and be stuck (In the meantime I hope) in one of the world's most dangerous cities like ME, come on, cheer up! BTW, It's not that I don't like living in CHIHUAHUA, but the drug dealer wars and the crime is awful, I would gladly move to Canada with my whole family if I had the chance.

P.S. I hope it's not a stereotype but I'm a mexican who wants to get the hell out of Mexico (legally of course), and it's not that I don't like my country as a whole you know, the culture is great, and the food, etc, but is overloaded with criminals and a good for nothing goverment...

Time for some clarification:
Cities (in order of importance)
-Toronto
-Vancouver
-Montreal

Everywhere else in Canada is pretty boring.

Toronto weather is comparable to New York's weather, just a few degrees colder in the winter.

Quebec is easily the worst province, especially with all the French-Canadians.

Vancouver is an acceptable alternative to living in Toronto, but everything American in Vancouver is a fuckload more expensive than it would be in Toronto.

Montreal is in Quebec, and is therefore shit-tier by comparison to the other two cities, but is still better than the rest of Canada.

Toronto has the largest Pee-noise population in Canada.

Marijuana is not legal in Canada, but no one gives a fuck, as long as you don't do anything stupid.

Canada is a decent place to live.

Just learn to abandon technology, because unlike America (Where they get good deals everyday, almost) Canada gets nothing at all. Oh and enjoy the bandwidth limits.

Oh, and drugs are everywhere, but they're still not legal. They are still everywhere.

Indeed. I know a guy who makes $65k a year living up there, owns a house, and even has a girlfriend who moved in that pays rent. And he is by far the cheapest person that I know. He is always complaining about money. He wants me to move up there and get a job. Am I seeing things right?

Housing outside of the city is the cheapest shit ever.

Million dollar homes can go for 300-350k.

Middle class here is $60k. Good money is around $100k. But a doctor can make $150k+ easily. Heck, even if you did high school you can make $40k easily!

+1. They give a bad name to Canada.

Hey, you forgot about Ottawa! We have all the sights and stuff. ;)

Because people come to Canada for the sights.

Besides, Toronto has the CN Tower anyways.

Vancouver and Toronto are not cold. Calgary and Edmonton are cold. It can snow in May and August, and it can hale in June....... and I wouldn't have it any other way. I was born in Hong Kong, back in the 1990s it was a refreshing warmth at a good average of 19-ish degrees. Now it can stay 32 degrees for the whole damn year!

I love cold weather. It's nice seeing people around me eating ice cream when it's 0 degrees outside. For those who like the cold but not to an extreme, Calgary is great for that because whenever it gets too cold, Chinooks from the mountains will always warm up the temperatures a little bit.

Anyway, In toronto It's great, although, If your diabetic, Don't come here.

Sugar Is everywhere.

Anyway, We get bad winters, and nice summers (Bikini's :creep:)
