This week my friend Nathan and I filmed a new movie, called Awkward Moments 2. Everyone that I had talked to thought it was hilarious, and we enjoyed making it, so a sequel seemed right.

I spent a lot of time on the visual effects for this one. I know some of the shots aren't perfect, but it is really difficult to do because the movie was shot in SD. Never again am I filming a machine gun scene (or at least at that angle). Trying to animate the second machine gun in Nathan's left hand was crazy hard. I had to mask his right arm, and move that mask every time his arm moved, so that the shells and blood would fall behind that arm . Then I had to find the right time to add the muzzle flare. It was a nightmare, hahah.
