There's been quite a few people I'm sure who've bricked their Wiis or other electronics but got a new one through their warranty. They just say they updated it and it stopped working. It's not like they'll really be able to check this if it's truly fucked, they'll just fork you over a new console.

It's a bit sketchy but hey, that's life for ya.

Because this is a remake that includes Master Quest. I actually never cleared Master Quest I got it for some days until it was gone. And its always nice to replay it again.

My father removed them all. ^^ He knows how to open it without losing anything. It was only in the upper screen which could be opened easily.

Let's please not turn this into a Ocarina of Time 3D debate, if anything this thread should be to help this poor feller and save him from slapping out another chunk of cash on a new system.

Or you can just suggest him DS games to play in the meantime.

Port =/= Remake. Not to mention, it's portable, which is a big factor for some. Haters need to get their facts straight and come up with an argument that makes sense. I really don't understand why people have to criticize it at every chance they get. This topic isn't even completely related to OoT3D. He only mentioned it once.

Because this is the first remake. Remake > Port.

But yeah, this isn't the place for an OoT debate.

Was just about to write that, I'm pretty sure that device like 3DS would have water damage markers. Basically, anything electronically that gets released now, has these markers.
They change color in contact with water. But it doesn't hurt to try at least.

Also, if you're looking for a game that will hold you over, try Animal Crossing.

Ah I remember when my DSI got wet and Gamestop told me i had to deal directly with nintendo, one call to the local consumer rights and they replaced it with a new one. there's a 90 day consumer replacement right here in PR even tho GS says after 15 days its up to manufacturer. Lil pressure goes a long way.

I'm aware of that. I'm a big Zelda fan myself, but really, this makes the 5th port of this game, and even with the Master Quest it's not worth $40.

If you're looking for something to hold you over, I'd try some of the more deep, long RPGS for the DS. I'd look into:

Infinite Space
Etrian Odyssey 1/2/3
Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey
Lufia DS
Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time/Bowser's Inside Story
Chrono Trigger DS (though I haven't personally played this one.)
Any of the Final Fantasy titles

This happened to me once not too long ago, when I had my ds lite.

Act fast:

Put your 3DS (open, without battery & battery cover) inside a ziploc bag (thermal helps) or aluminum paper, cover speaker holes with scotch, put enough rice inside to fill up the container material, and place it near a heater. (not too close to cause a fire, but as close as it gets heat) At least 1 hour.

Later you´ll leave it outside(must be daylight) until the night. Once several hours have passed, it should be fine.

Most likely the battery has shortened hence why no power. Consider checking if after all this, it still charges, and of course, it still boots up.

If it happens that I won´t get a new 3DS in exchange.

Then it will take until August 31 to get a new one or get my old one repaired. I think its time for me to leave the 3DS scene. >.< I have games but no console; thats screwed. Maybe my parents would but I won´t take that risk I don´t want to do that to them. I love my parents.
