Yo, Tempers. I just decided that I have been here for a while, and even though you guys "know me", you don't know that much about me. I wanted to just share a little about myself for those who care to read it.
Let's start with a brief summary. I was born in raised in Cincinnati, OH. It wasn't until my crazy mom went kinda crazy that I was forced to leave her with my Dad (court order; she is deemed unfit to legally watch after children) and sister to Chicago. That was about 15 years ago.
I'm 19 now, and I even though I have recollection to as far back as 2 or so years old, Chicago is what seems like my hometown. I have lived here with my Granny, Dad, and Sister since I was 4. I have only seem my mom once since we moved here. She's got her own issues to sort out...
I was raised playing video games. My dad had a SNES and NES in the house when I was born, and I played almost as soon as I came out the womb. I grew up with the classics of Nintendo and have loved gaming ever since. It was around 5th grade when a new passion came to the table -- I began writing. In 7th and 8th grade my teachers praised me and I won several awards. It was in High school that I started publishing my writing around the web and school. My high school years were filled with drama set for another day to explain, I am trying to keep this short. I'll only tell if people wanna hear it.
I discovered Gbatemp Freshman year of high school. I didn;t register until sophomore year, to ask about some Wii hacking questions. I felt noobish as hell because prior to that I was "PSP hacking/repairing" extraordinaire at my school lol. Rockin' 3.55 M33 and a custom PSP like nobody's business XP. Wii was all new to me; it was here that I also discovered the existence of DS flash carts. I had JUST imported Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan! and was HOOKED, I was super hyped to get 2 but instead I get a flash cart, allowing me to play JUMP too.
I started to hang around here more when I became depressed Sophomore and Junior year. My close guy friends distanced themselves from me, and my girl friends were all my... well, ex-girlfriends. I was hung up on one specific girl, and missed a lot of chances with tons of other women in high school... because I was stupid. Gaming was a nice distraction. It pretty much held me together until the middle of Junior year.
I think I should wrap this up for now. I have gotten better since then, and have learned a lot. I did A LOT of my "growing up" in high school, and have become a different person than who I was when I first came here. I strive to do what I can to help. I love it here and hope you guys enjoy my company.
